Description
The Shaker Slab cabinet drawer front is available in solid hardwood and HDF. The thickness (.8″) and outside profile matches the Shaker, Chesapeake, and Concord doors and 5- drawer fronts. It can be used as an alternate look or when narrower drawer headers are needed.

I ordered five drawer fronts, four of which were beautiful. One of the drawers had a large knot in it that was sanded pretty smooth but had a couple of grooves left in it which I had to fill. The same front also had a bit of a warp, slight and hopefully not noticeable after mounting.

You ordered paint grade maple so it is acceptable that there are knots as long as it can support a quality paint finish.
