- 5/8″ Solid Hardwood sides with eased edges, Dovetailed at the corners
- 3/8″ engineered core plywood bottom; Flat, stable, and Strong (not 1/4″ like most competitors)
- 1/2″ recessed bottom; Ready for Undermount OR Side mount drawer slides
- Optional rear notching available for Assembled Dovetails that are 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, and. 27″ deep. Works for undermount slides up to 2-1/4″ wide.
- Width: 6.75″-38″; Depth: 7.25″-28″; Height: 2.625″- 11″
- Shipped Ready to Assemble, Sand, and Finish; Or, choose Factory Assembly and Clearcoat finishing
- Available in Natural Hard Maple, White Hard Maple, Red Oak, and Walnut
- These drawer boxes are made with the intention that the installer will fasten a drawer front to the front. You can see our drawer fronts here.
UNASSEMBLED BOXES REQUIRE SOME WOODWORKING SKILLS TO ASSEMBLE. THIS MAY INCLUDE FITTING DOVETAILS, GLUING, FILLING, AND SANDING. IF YOU ARE UNSURE, FACTORY ASSEMBLY IS A GREAT VALUE! Dovetails MUST be assembled as soon as you receive them. Changes in relative humidity will greatly affect the wood. Products ordered unassembled can not be returned for failed assembly.

I was pleasantly surprised of the quality of the wood in the maple kits. The kits went together fairly easy and look great. Out of 11 drawers (55 pieces of boards) that I ordered there were a only couple of knots and a few small chips which are not visible in my installations. My only negative comment would be for the pen markings that are written on the tops and bottoms of the boards to show which belong together. This took extra sanding to remove. These kits are very nice and save lots of time. I am very satisfied and highly recommend.

Thanks for the feedback! When you order Unassembled/Unfinished drawer boxes the pieces come off the line and go to shipping straight from cutting and before assembly. There’s no fitting or sanding done. While we endeavor to keep sharp tooling, this kind of thing can happen with hardwoods like maple. These fit and finish issues are taken care of when drawer boxes are ordered assembled.

Dovetails need fitting as I was told but came out great. I needed to cut grooves in one or I would have paid for assembly and finish.
