Edgewater Cabinet Door
Description
The Edgewater cabinet door style features a flat panel available in 1/4″ veneer ply or solid wood. The frame is solid hardwood with tenon joinery.
Available in the following Wood Species: Paint Grade Maple, Select White Maple, Select Red Oak, Quarter Sawn Red Oak, Rift Sawn White Oak, Select Cherry, Select Walnut, Clear Alder, Rustic Alder, Select Hickory, Select White Birch, or Vertical Carbonized Bamboo.
Optional hinge cup boring in 3 different formats is available.
Pre-finishing is available as a Satin Conversion Varnish topcoat or a White Conversion Varnish primer, ready for paint.
These cabinet doors are available with 5 different frame widths: 2.25”, 2.5”, 2.625”, 2.75”, and 3”.

The doors I got was well constructed. The measurements were exactly on. The surfaces were smooth and well planed. The holes bored for the insert offset hinges were exact.

Sorry to hear you are not happy! However, we are wondering what you mean by “insert portion”. If you mean the center panel, you ordered this door with the HDF center panel for painting. HDF is not cheap and is chosen for paint grade cabinet parts because it is more stable, flat, and moisture-resistant than solid wood or veneer ply.
If you are planning to stain your fronts, we have 9 available wood species for stain grade.
