Custom Paint Color Match

Want a paint color beyond our 13 standard paint colors? We custom match paint colors for doors, drawer fronts and panels. Custom matches are for paint only; we don’t custom match stains.

Sherwin-Williams colors: $250 per color

Give us the exact Sherwin-Williams color number and name, such as SW 6244 Naval. We make it from Sherwin-Williams’ formula for that color in our finish, Sherwin-Williams Kemvar 80, an industrial grade post-catalyzed conversion varnish with a 10° sheen. The sheen and the finish itself make it look a little different from the same color in wall or trim paint.

Our former standard colors: $250 per color

Before our Sherwin-Williams colors, our standard colors were based on these Benjamin Moore colors. To match doors you bought from us before, give us the color’s Benjamin Moore code and name exactly as listed, such as HC-154 Hale Navy.

Matching an earlier order in one of these colors? We take the color match fee off:

1. Configure your doors or drawer fronts with Custom paint color match as the finish, and type the color’s Benjamin Moore code and name.
2. Add them to your cart and go to checkout.
3. Choose Save as Quote as the payment method and click Save quote.

Our support team removes the color match fee from your quote and emails you a link to pay. Quoted prices are honored for 30 days.

Any other color: $500 per color

For any other color, including other Benjamin Moore colors, other brands, or the paint on your existing cabinets, send us a painted piece and we match the color to it.

How to order

• When you configure your doors or drawer fronts, choose Custom paint color match as the finish and type your color.
• The fee is added once per color per order, however many pieces are in that color.
• We highly recommend Paint Grade Maple (with an MDF center panel) or one-piece MDF for painted finishes. Five-piece or slab fronts with veneer or solid wood center panels are not warranted if painted.
• The lead time starts once we confirm the color match. See our current lead times.
